Express your unique personality and how you’re feeling to people who view your profile.

Add colors to your profile

Adding custom colors to your profile enhances its overall “feel” and immediately immerses viewers in your personal vibe. Use the reimagined Edit Profile Page in Dashboard to choose background, card, border, and text colors.

Note: Click “View Profile” from your account dropdown in Dashboard to change profile colors.

Choose your unique interests

Starting conversations with new people you know nothing about can be awkward and stressful. Adding interests to your profile gives viewers easy conversation starters and a chance to find shared interests before starting a conversation. Choose up to 10 interests from the Edit Profile Page.

Communicate your mood to others

Setting your mood on your profile lets others know how they can show up in a conversation and relate to you. For example, showing that you’re feeling frustrated creates the possibility for your peers and colleagues to approach you with a bit more care or offer to help out. You can choose from over 10 different moods.

Note: Customers with dedicated Metaverse Cloud deployments can set up custom interests and profile pictures for users to choose from.

Choose a new profile image

Choose from a list of curated profile images to quickly add a visual that reflects your personality. You can still upload your own profile image if you already have an image in mind you want to use.

Friendship Mode

Clearly communicate to people if you’re open to making new friends with Friendship Mode.

Set your Friendship Mode

Go to your profile and choose “🤗 Open to new friends” to let others know you’d like to make new friends. If you don’t feel like talking to new people, choose “🙅 Not open to new friends” so that you can socialize with people you already know or travel solo in peace. Use “None selected” if you don’t want to have Friendship Mode show in your profile.

You can now use Availability, Mood, and Friendship Mode in combination to communicate a lot about how you’re feeling. As a reminder, Availability lets others know your immediate availability, Mood communicates how you’re feeling over the course of a day, and Friendship Mode specifically shows if you're open to making new friends.

Find New Friends

Quickly and easily find like-minded people with shared interests that are open to making new friends.

Find new friends in worlds

People in the same world as you who have at least 1 shared interest and “🤗 Open to new friends” set as their Friendship Mode will now show in your new Find New Friends page. Go to Social Hub > Find New Friends to view profiles and easily send friend requests, messages, or walk to someone to start a conversation.
