Takeaways

  • Use Undo and Redo while moving, transforming, or deleting assets to rapidly experiment without losing your original design.
  • Set up a recurring schedule for your worlds to open and close with the new World Open and Close Scheduler.
  • Communicate your Status in worlds and Dashboard as Available, Busy, or Do Not Disturb.

Undo and Redo While Building

Undo and redo up to 10 actions while world building using the new buttons on your builder toolbar.

Rapidly experiment with no regrets

Undo and redo allow you to quickly test changes to your world’s design without fear of having to remove and replace assets to get back to your previous design. Dropping new assets, transforming existing assets (scale, rotate, move), and removing assets can all be undone or redone. Click the new buttons in the toolbar while in builder mode or use keyboard shortcuts to undo and redo. Learn more.

Undo or redo multi-asset actions

Have you ever decided that an area of your world design wasn’t working, deleted the assets en masse, and then immediately regretted your decision? Well, we have, and that’s why we made sure that this update included undoing and redoing multi-asset actions, like moving, rotating, and deleting 100+ assets. Any of these multi-asset actions will count as 1 of your 10 total actions that can be undone or redone.

Schedule Worlds to Open and Close

Rest easy that your world will open and close on a recurring schedule.

Set a recurring open and close schedule

Say goodbye to messages like: “Hey, I think you forgot to open your world today. 😭” For worlds where you have Moderator permission, go to World Settings > World Open/Close to set up a recurring schedule. In the Scheduler section, click the plus (+) button to add up to 16 open and close times. You can specify which days of the week the open and close times will repeat by clicking the days of the week options.

Set Your Status

Communicate your availability to others while in worlds and Dashboard.

View statuses on avatars and profiles

We’re excited to introduce 3 new statuses — Available, Busy, and Do Not Disturb – to help you communicate your current availability. Your status will be visible to others in your profile, above your avatar, and in the current users list (Social Hub > Current Users).

Set your status as Available, Busy, or Do Not Disturb

The "Available" status displays a green indicator, signaling openness to communication, while "Busy" shows a yellow indicator, indicating you are online but not open to interruptions. The "Do Not Disturb" status, marked by a red indicator, will block all notifications except push notifications, ensuring uninterrupted focus while signaling to others that you are not available for responses. Also, you will not connect with other users via video and audio while using the “Do Not Disturb” status.

You can change your status anywhere that you access your profile. Visit our help center to learn more about changing your status.
